Illustration Friday {Clean}

This week's word has led me to focus on the obsessive compulsive possiblities of keeping clean. A problem which I'm sure I'll never have to deal with myself (you should see my disaster of a house now - Yikes!) - but interesting to explore nonetheless.

My better half did not find this next image "clean". Instead he told me he was nauseated and creeped out by the pepto-bismol pink...I thought I'd post it anyways :)

i think they're both awesome! the first one reminds of my neatfreak sister and the second one is that 50's housewife that is so perfect and clean she's practically a robot. excellent!

two wonderful illustrations... I think I would like the manic cleaner to visit my home...

I like them both! They both communicate the psycho-pathology of the obsessive cleaner!!!

I loved your first image! She looks unstable...like she wants to do bodily harm to the loaf sitting in the chair! Great expression! Love the dirty details :)

WOW, these are great. I LOVE the top one. It's a really dynamic perspective, the dirty suds, and I really like the way the splattery grime extends out of the frame all the way around. (Looks to me like you've had fun dirtying up that pic, while that poor woman is going crazy, Lady Macbeth Style, outing those damn spots)
